Making Milwaukee safer for everyone
People deserve to feel safe in their homes, in their neighborhoods, and when walking or biking around the city. But right now, too many residents are worried about reckless driving, car break-ins, and a lack of accountability when things go wrong. We need real changes to how our streets are designed to slow down dangerous drivers and make it easier to get around safely. We also need to invest in well-lit, well-maintained public spaces and ensure that when people call for help, they get a response that actually addresses the problem. Everyone should feel safe in Milwaukee—no exceptions.

Holding absentee landlords accountable
When absentee landlords neglect their properties, it doesn’t just hurt tenants—it impacts the entire neighborhood. Longtime residents shouldn’t have to deal with rundown properties next door, and students renting for the first time shouldn’t be taken advantage of by landlords who refuse to make repairs. I’ll fight for proactive enforcement that ensures rental properties are safe and well-maintained, while also expanding housing options to keep rent affordable for everyone.
Investing in strong city services
Basic city services—trash pickup, road repairs, and infrastructure maintenance—shouldn’t be a struggle. When these fail, everything else suffers. We need to prioritize fixing potholes, keeping our neighborhoods clean, and making sure our infrastructure works for everyone. I believe in long-term public works improvements, like the investments Milwaukee’s "sewer socialists" made a century ago. We’re still benefiting from their work today, and it’s time to take that same smart, forward-thinking approach.

Fighting for public education
As an MPS graduate and parent, I know firsthand how critical our public schools are to Milwaukee’s future. We need to fully fund MPS, stop resources from being diverted, and ensure that schools remain accountable to an elected school board—not state politicians who don’t prioritize Milwaukee’s students. Strong public schools mean a stronger city.
Standing up for Milwaukee
Milwaukee should be able to make its own decisions, but too often, the state and now the Trump Administration actively interferes in ways that directly hurt our communities. I will fight for local control, push back against policies that harm immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities, and ensure that Milwaukee’s growth benefits all residents—not just a select few.
